Connie Britton checked in for a night out with David Windsor.
The White Lotus star graced the 2024 Emmys red carpet outside Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Calif., alongside her boyfriend of five years in very coordinating attire.
In fact, the 57-year-old, who was styled by Katie Bofshever, donned an archival Alexander McQueen black gown, complete with satin draping and Buccelatti jewelry.
Meanwhile, her partner—who is a television writer with credits on shows like This is Us and The Real O’Neals—opted for a classic black tuxedo, complete with a stylishly oversized satin bow tie. (See every red carpet look here).
While Connie—who was last nominated in 2022 for her performance in season one of The White Lotus—was not up for any awards at the 76th Emmys ceremony, her date night was all the more sweet considering her special moment presenting Best Writing in a Comedy Series alongside other TV moms.
Connie—who starred alongside TV husband Kyle Chandler as Tami Taylor in Friday Night Lights for five seasons—took the stage with Meredith Baxter and Susan Kelechi Watson, who played iconic moms in Family Ties and This is Us, respectively.
Of course, the moment also paid homage to Connie, Meredith and Susan’s ability to leap to even bigger roles in their careers.
“These days we can be a country star,” Connie explained on stage of her later roles in Nashville and American Horror Story. “The head of a haunted household.”
And while David—whom she started dating in 2019—was not nominated for an award, Connie’s speech credited his profession with women’s growing status in the entertainment industry.
As she noted before presenting the trophy to Hacks, “None of this would be possible without the contributions of great TV writers.” (See every winner here.)
Connie’s rare night out with her partner was not the only flicker of romance at the 2024 Emmys. Selena Gomez—nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series thanks to her work on Only Murders in the Building—brought along boyfriend Benny Blanco as her plus one, only adding to the increasing engagement rumors.
Meanwhile, Holland Taylor—who was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama series—may have lost the night’s honor to The Crown’s Elizabeth Debicki, but she won in the romance department with the support of her longtime girlfriend Sarah Paulson on the red carpet.
